Big Bed

We figured that since the baby will be arriving soon it would be a good idea to get Gracie into a "Big" girl bed. We have actually had her new bed since the end of May. When we first got it she slept in it for 3 nights and then the 4th night crawled back into her crib. Yeah, we probably should have taken that down but if she was going to sleep in the bed without us doing so it would be one less thing we would have to do in September...guess not.



Gracie decided to take a break and read a little.







We do have a blanket to go on her bed but every time we put it on she wouldn't get up on her bed and would cry.

Thankfully Grandma sent us something else to go on the bed.



Which she loves and could stay upstairs just playing on her bed now.

Sleeping has gotten better in the last month but we are not at a 100% yet. Once she does fall asleep she stays in bed all night. However, it is getting her to stay in the bed to go to sleep that has been the trouble. She use to get out about 20 times a night and now we are down to about 5 at the most. We have changed her nap and bed time to try and get this last issue to be better. Which seems to be working. We are just hoping that by the time the baby comes she will only be getting out of bed maybe once before falling asleep. We shall see.
