On the Move.....Take 2

I forgot to add a video to the last post.  I had mentioned that Eva was climbing and let me tell you she is climbing everywhere.  As we speak, or rather I type, she has managed to climb into a chair and then onto Grace's desk!!  She is sitting there just chilling out and waiting for me to get her.  This is one nice thing she waits for me, at least for now, unlike Grace who would always try to get down on her own!

Anyways back to this post.  Since she has been climbing and we have stairs we decided we should probably teach her how to go down them.  A couple weeks back we did just that.  However, we didn't really have to teach her at all.  We turned her around and she just started going down backwards with out us having to do a thing.  Oh and as far as age she had just turned 11 months!!

I had a much better video than this one but I think it was too large (long) as soon as I hit upload it came up with an error.  At least in this one you get to see her wave bye-bye!

On The Move....

So I have been horrible about posting Eva's "first" compared to Grace's.  Regardless it makes it no less important to us.  I do however want it up here cause when I can't remember it is nice to be able to go back and take a look at when things happened.  Eva took her time to get moving but once she realized the advantage of it she was full speed ahead!

It took her 6months to finally roll over from her front to her back!  It took her another week to go from her back to her front! Then with a week or so she started scooting across the floor and then decided to get up on all fours and do the rocking.

Not long after the rocking she started doing this....

Shortly after that came the crawling and pulling herself up to a standing position.  By the time she hit 8 months she was starting to cruise along the furniture and climbing. The funny part was she could never figure out how to get back down from standing and would always end up like this....

After this she seemed to have slowed it down a little.  It was not until she was 9 months that she decided to stand on her own.

But from there it took her no time at all, just a couple of weeks before she took her first step but in the mean time she enlisted a little help with the walking.

Soon after turning 10 months she got a little braver....

And it wasn't long after this, maybe a week later, she became a full time walker!  She actually started to prefer walking over crawling! I'm sure it won't be long now and she will be running.....if she is not already!

Testing.....

I have been avoiding posting anything for awhile because they have changed things up on me.  They have changed the layout of the screen that I use when I go to post.  Now of course I could, at least for now, go back to the old way but I don't know I feel like I should adjust to the new change.  The problem has been that I need to find the time to mess around and see how this all works and well that is just time I don't really have. heh :)

We as a family have been very busy the last couple of months....weddings, vacations, Eva's walking, people coming to visit and planning birthday parties just to list a few.  I am hoping to get a couple post up this week.  I am also trying to figure out a new way that I can blog to help our family stay more up to date with us.  This may mean you will see post about things but have no pictures or it could just simply be me actually setting aside time in my week to blog.  I have to see how it will all fit into my schedule in the next week or two.  I think by then we should be on some sort of routine....I hope! :)

Above is just a random picture from our vacation.  I'm still trying to figure out the pictures and being able to write and move them where I want them.  In case you have not figured out I am horrible when it comes to technology.  I am one of those that just wished everything would stay the same.  I do not like trying to figure out  new things! :)
