Snowcones

For Father's Day Mark took us out for snow cones!  Oddly enough this was the first time Eva has had one.  We decided to check out a new place and it was great plus it was right next to the park!

Home Improvements

Before listing our house we wanted to make a couple of changes to it.  Nothing major but just some things that Mark and I had planned on doing anyways.  To help us with these changes we enlisted my Dad for some help.

We also decided to paint the half bath and for this we enlisted my Mom since well she is great at painting and  right now I really should not be closed up in a little room with paint fumes in my current condition. :)

The after photo.  Not the best picture but our half bath is not very big so this was the best I could get and well at least you get an idea of the color. :)

Seattle Trip

Here are some pictures of the views Mark and I had while driving in and around Seattle!  It is so beautiful there!!

Figured I should at least explain this picture....this is The Wall of Gum!  It is a famous wall that well everyone puts their gum on!

The Heat Has Arrived

May had barely began when the heat decided to roll in and stay for the next 5 months or so.  In order to beat the heat we of course involve water with most of our outings now.  Below are some pictures of 3 different ways we did just that in the month of May!

Baseball

We made our annual trip to the ballpark to watch the Mets play the Astros and had a great time!

We had pretty good seats this year as this was our view!  Of course this was during warm-ups because once the game starts I really don't take any pictures since I'm too busy with the girls and watching the game.

Grace wanted to take a picture with Mommy and unfortunately this was the best shot we got. :-/

And this is a picture of our favorite player.....David Wright!  The Mets lost of course but we had a great time!

Eva LOVES the phone and loves to talk on it already!  We could be in some trouble when she gets older.  I guess at least this day in age we have cell phones so she won't be on the home phone non-stop like her Aunt Shilo use to do. ;) Hehe, just kidding Shilo!  We will just have to have a cell plan of unlimited anytime minutes and text messaging!!

Husby Family to grow two feet by Christmas!

A New Adventure

It is official....the Husby family is on the move!  Well actual it became official about 2 months ago but today our house has gone on the market.  So now all we need is someone willing to buy our wonderful home and we will be on our way!

Mark was offered a promotion at work which he gladly accepted!  However, with the promotion they would like him to work from the headquarters office which of course means a transfer for us!  And just where is headquarters.....

SEATTLE!!!

The past couple months have been a pretty big whirlwind for us but we are trying to enjoy every moment of it.  The move to Seattle has been slightly different than our move to Texas.  For starters I think we moved to Texas in about a month from the time Mark took the job but the most obvious reason is because of the kids!  We just have a completely different view on things as we need to now consider schools and such.

During the month of May we had lots of visitors so we took advantage of it!  Mark and I made a quick trip to Seattle without the girls to start looking around.  It was a pretty successful trip in the sense that we figured out the area that we would like to live!  We plan on renting at first so we can really learn the areas and figure out where it is that we really want to live.  We basically have 2 years to figure it out or until Grace starts school.  Our goal is to have a place by then.  However, for now our main focus is to sell our house.  Thankfully we don't have to move until our house is sold!  On that note, if you know of anyone looking to buy a lovely 3 bedroom 2 1/2 bath send them our way!! :)

Park time.....

At some point on Easter and after rest time we decided to take a walk down to the park.  The girls always have so much fun at this park even though it is just a small one.

While there the girls decided to show off their muscles!!  Eva kept wanting to hang from the bar so Mark finally put her up there and what a strong little girl she is!  I could not believe how long she would hang there!  Plus as soon as we put her down she was asking to do it again and again!

Taking a break from hanging!  But not for long....
