For Valentine's Day we had our traditional candle light dinner at home. Like usual we got all dressed up and had a nice dinner. However, this year Daddy surprised the girls, and myself, with a gift!! He got all of us a necklace!!
We started with an appetizer of edamame, California rolls and Spicy tuna rolls. For dinner we had Sesame Chicken salad and dessert was hot pink chocolate chip cookies and chocolate covered strawberries!
After dinner the girls were able to open all of their gifts they received from family.
The day after is Mark's birthday. It was such a beautiful day that the kids & I went into the city to meet him for lunch down by the water!!
That night we went out to celebrate again and ended it with brownies for dessert & gift opening. And no Mark did not have the brownies. He still does not like sweets but the girls don't understand and of course Daddy needed to blow out candles on a "cake" so we had brownies. The girls enjoyed them!!
