Surprise!!

When I downloaded my pictures and videos from my camera the other week, this is what I found. You may be thinking that is a ton of videos but they are short, really short so enjoy!

As you probably heard from the video, I found Grace with my camera but thought nothing of it. Guess I should have looked at my camera when I got it back but I'm glad I didn't because I did enjoy the surprise videos and found them at a time when I really could have used a laugh or a smile!! :)

Shrek Anyone?

I have read that what you do while you are pregnant plays a part in what your child will like. I don't know how true all of that is but I do know that it seems to be some what true with both of our girls. With Grace I read and listened to music all the time and what are 2 of Grace's favorite things to do? You guessed it...read and listen to music. While I was pregnant with Eva we did read a lot and listen to music but she is too young for both to know if she likes them as much as Grace.

However, it seems that we must have done something else a lot while I was pregnant....

...we watched the movie Shrek. The other night Eva was really fussy and we were just at a loss with what to do to calm her down. I laid her down to check her diaper in the living room and she stopped fussing. It seems that the TV had caught her eye or ear. She probably laid there for a good 15 to 20 minutes just listening/watching the movie Shrek. Grace loves Shrek and it seems that, at least for now, little sis does too! :)

Bath Time

Thankfully Eva didn't have to take too many sponge baths. Her chord fell off a little over 2 weeks after she was born. Below are a few pictures from her first real bath and thankfully she loves bath time!!

Halloween

This year Halloween was better than last year...I got to actually join in the fun! (Last year I was sick on Halloween so I was in bed sleeping.)

Our fun prior to trick-or-treating....

Giving the pumpkin a kiss before we started cutting into it.
Hehe, just kidding....we didn't let her actually use the knife. Just let her sort of touch it for the photo shoot. After this she kept her hands away from the pumpkin.
Eva joining in on the fun.

Making sure Daddy is getting everything out.

Time for the face.

Checking out the finished project.

Do you notice the horses? They had to "help" us with the carving. :)

I told Mark this picture should have been of him and the girls since he did all the work. As you can see he did not agree.

Time to go Trick-or-Treating....

This was the best picture we could get of the two of them.

Gracie the Elephant

Eva the Ghost

Hanging out in the neighbor's yard waiting for everyone (the neighbor kids) to go trick-or-treating.

In the beginning Grace was keeping up with the "big" kids.

Starting to slow down a little.

The bigger kids were just too fast for Grace to keep up so after awhile Daddy went with her to the door.

Still going strong after an hour or so into it. I was very proud of Grace, she never gave up. She just kept going and going. We had the stroller along but she really didn't want to ride in it. She wanted to walk like all the other kids. Once the night was done I think we figured out we walked about a mile. I was tired by the time we got home but not Grace she wanted to keep going. :)

Finally at home and helping Daddy sort through the candy to make sure everything was ok to eat.
