On the Move

I have several things to blog about but have had no time at all to get it all done.  The last 2 months have slipped by fast and have been busy but full of fun.  Just to get everyone up to date with us, I'm skipping the last couple months but will come back to fill in all the gaps.  The latest happenings with us is we are finally moving to Seattle!!

At the start of the month we had an offer on our house and after some negotiations we agreed on something and we move at the end of this month!  It has been a very busy couple of weeks as we are trying to tie up all the lose ends here in Texas and getting our lives started in Washington.  We close on the house tomorrow but will have it until Saturday and then we fly to Seattle on Sunday!!  It seems so strange that the time is here already but it is and we are excited to get started with a mixture of sadness to leave all our wonderful friends down here who have become our family!  We have a very busy and emotional week ahead of us!!

Once we get to Washington, and once I get some time, I will post some more and fill in all of the gaps!  For now we just ask for prayer through the transition of the move for us and the girls as well as for safe travels and that all of our stuff makes it to us safely as well!  I could also use prayer for finding a new doctor since I now only have about 2 to 2 1/2 months left before this baby comes into the world!  Thank you so much in advance for all of your prayers.

Circus, Circus

In July we decided to take the girls to the circus!  Grace has been asking to go to the circus for months so we figured when it came to town it would be a fun thing to do with the girls!

Before the show started you could go early to get an up close look at all of the animals!

I had to get a picture of everyone with this horse because it was a Norwegian Fjord!!

For there we went into the pre-show.

The show has finally started....

The girls had a great time!  I think it was probably a little too long for Eva but she enjoyed the second half more so than the first because it was in the second half that all of the animals came out!  We had a great time but I don't think we will be going back to another circus until baby #3 is probably 3 or older!! :)

VBS

Grace was able to attend VBS this summer and she Loved it!!  VBS was in July and she is still singing songs and talking about all that she has learned!

Eva did not attend this year, we had some one on one time, something she really never gets.  Even though she did not go we would arrive sometimes and they were still doing the closing part of the day so she knew some of the songs and she was also able to see Blueberry, the puppet!  For weeks she would ask us where he was at.  This was clearly her favorite part as it was for most of the children there!

There were other puppets besides Blueberry but he was the only one Grace would talk about and the only one Eva saw until the little program we went to.

I'm so glad Grace was able to go this year.  She had so much fun there!  Everyday she would tell me that I came back too soon to get her!  She never wanted to go home!!  I hope she feels the same way about school once she starts!
