Can you believe it 4 months? Well actually she is 4 1/2 months but we just went to the doctor today for her appointment. The doctor was very happy with Grace. She said she is developing wonderfully. Her heart, eyes, ears and everything else were great. Plus she said she was developing at a good rate if not slightly ahead on all her motor skills and such. Grace can now sit while supporting herself with her hands, roll over both ways, grabs for everything, no lag in her head when pulled to a sitting position and is starting to crawl like a worm...very slow and not very far. Her weight today was 13lbs. 10 1/2 oz (40 percentile), height 23 1/2" (10 percentile), and as for her head she was in the 30 percentile but I don't remember the exact measurement and they never write that one down for me.

Our doctor told us that Grace could now have cereal 3 times a day and each serving could be 3-4 Tbsp. Then she can start her veggies when she is 5 months old and her fruit when she is 6 months. Oh and she gets her veggies 2 times a day. I found it strange that they would start her on veggies first over fruit but hey things change all the time and honestly I love our doctor so I will just do whatever she tells me. :) hehe

Of course there was the not so fun part of our visit which was the dreaded shots. She got 1 oral vaccine and 3 shots, some how it was worse this time. I'm not sure if it was because she was older and more aware or if it had anything to do with her being tired. For me it was worse cause, well she was screaming and crying and my support was not there. (Mark was at work) So it took us a moment or two before we left the room, basically until both Mommy and Grace stopped crying. Thankfully I remembered to bring the elephant that she is so fond of lately and that seemed to help her calm down. :-/
