Palm Beach...

Back in August we decided to take the girls down to Galveston for the morning to spend sometime at Palm Beach, which is part of Mood Gardens.  The girls each got a free pass to it by being in the book club at the library this past summer.  Of course we have always been a part of the book club and have always gotten the free pass but we have just never used it.  It seems that once you realize you are moving and this could be your only time to do something you tend to make a point of doing it.  After going the only thing I regret is that we never went sooner!!!  It was such a fun place and morning!!  If you live near there and have not gone yet you so need to go this next summer you and the kids will have a blast!
The slides were the big hit for the girls.  There were two different sets of slides, these and some larger ones, obviously we hung out at the smaller slides!  At first the girls were a little nervous about going down so they both went with Mark!  Grace loved it and Eva liked it.  I think Grace could have stayed there going down over and over all day long!

Eva didn't go every time that Grace went so while we waited she would play in this little splash pad area!
Grace found out she could go down on her tummy and after that she became a pro!

There was also a wave pool.  Grace we found out has no fear at all of the water.  It didn't matter to her that she could not touch after a certain point or the fact she had no life vest on.  She just loves the water and wants to be in it all times!!
Eva seems to be more like myself and is not as daring.  Her and I hung out on the edge of the wave pool and played.  Once in a while I was able to get her to go out in the "deep" with me but not often.
There was also a lazy river that we went down but have no pictures of because well we were all in the river at the same time and my camera does not do well in water! ;)

As I said it was a great day and I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is going to be in the area next summer or any summer really!
