Rodeo

In March we made it out to the Houston Rodeo yet again.  This year proved to be more fun as the girls are now older and can do more of the activities they have set up.  Plus it is always nice when you can actually tell when the girls are enjoying themselves!
The first thing we did was to walk through the "farming" experience.  It starts out with chickens to feed, then you move on to do the planting, then on towards the animals and finally ending with you selling your goods and receiving money for them which you use in the market to purchase a treat!  With each station you get to collect items in your bucket and it is these items you sell.  It is really a great learning tool for the kids!

Along the way through the farm you can make a stop in the cornbox!  They had 2 boxes filled with corn that the kids could play in and we had a hard time getting the girls to leave this area!

After the farm we went into the petting zoo!  Grace loved it and Eva well I'm pretty sure she liked it but it took her a little bit to warm up to it and even then she didn't wander far from Mommy or Daddy!

Towards the end she was really starting to like it!

Of course Grace had to ride on a pony!

After all of the activities and dinner we made our way into the actual rodeo.  Both girls were very excited to see all the horses and cows!

However, after a long day of fun Eva just couldn't make it through the rodeo.  Grace of course was awake until we were almost home and then she finally drifted off to sleep!
