Dentist

Grace had her first dentist appointment and she did wonderful!!  She is becoming such big girl!

She was reading a book and watching TV at the same time while waiting to be called back.  Every few minutes she would look at me and say "Can we go yet?"  In my mind I was thinking oh no this is not going to be a fun appointment.  However, when I started to explain she still needed to see the dentist she just simply looked at me and said, "Yeah, I know. So can we go see her yet?"  She was so excited for her appointment!!

They gave her some sunglasses to wear so the light wouldn't be too bright.  As soon as they laid her back she opened her mouth wide for the hygienist to brush her teeth!

After they cleaned her teeth they took some x-rays.  She thought it was pretty cool to see pictures of her teeth!

Next the doctor came in to "count" her teeth and she opened wide for her too!

The last thing they did was to "paint" her teeth!  They brushed fluoride on her teeth.  She had come to an appointment with me before hand to see what they were going to do and she saw the foam fluoride and informed me and the hygienist she did not like that!  So at her appointment they brushed or painted her teeth!!  Her favorite part of the whole appointment was getting a new Princess toothbrush!! :)
