A couple of months ago we took Grace to the zoo. It was not her first trip there but the last time she went she was only 7 months and although I'm sure she enjoyed it then she didn't really get much out of it. This trip however, she loved it! As you can probably guess the elephants were her favorite part of the zoo. It was one of the first things we went to see as well as the last.
As soon as she saw them she started making the elephant sound.
She had a lot of fun watching them but got pretty mad at Momma and Daddy when we would not let her get down to go play with them. She kept trying lean over the fence and reaching out to them.
After leaving the elephants we stopped by a couple other animals and then made our way to her 2nd favorite stop at the zoo.
Kitty yes but a rather large kitty. :)

"Can I come in there with you? It looks like fun."
The prairie dog exhibit had a place for the kids to crawl in and be a part of the exhibit. Doesn't she look so cute in there.
And no she didn't do it all by herself, Daddy helped her out. I tried to take her in there but she wouldn't do it with me. Guess in her mind Daddy will keep her safer.
We had to stop and see everything...even the statues. ;)

Our 2nd to last stop was the petting zoo. Which was just a bunch of goats. Grace had to pet everyone of them.
She was a little hesitant with the "Big Guy" but still wanted to go over by him just not pet him.
She was sound asleep before we even got out of the parking lot!! A very successful day!
