Every year my Moms Club takes a field trip to a tree farm around Christmas time. It may not sound like much fun but there is so much to do there. We were able to decorate a tree, make a scare crow, see some animals, go on a hay ride, roast some hotdogs and marshmallows, and do some Texas sledding! The kids had so much fun, at least Grace did!
A big sand hill for the kids to play on...
Towards the end of the morning the owners had put hay down on the sand and that helped the sled go faster but either way the kids were having so much fun sledding down the hill. :)
Our next activity was to stuff a scare crow. Most of the kids were either taking the hay to do just that or just watching everyone do that. However, Grace had other ideas and it was only a matter of time before the others joined in. She thought it would be much more fun to play in the hay!!
The kids with the tree they all helped decorate!
On the hay ride!
There were animals at the farm but they were all in fenced in except for the dog. Grace and a couple of her friends "played" with the dog while we were cleaning up our mess from roasting the hotdogs and marshmallows! We had a great time!!

Well that looks like fun never saw sleigh riding down a dirt hill. She would have a blast in the snow but our snow melted pretty good the other day and hopefully we won't get any more......teehee wishful thinking on my part.
