Flooding....

On Saturday we had some major thunderstorms here. Actually the storms started on Friday and continued through until Saturday early evening. At one point the rain was coming down so fast that there really was no point of even having rain gutters on your house. So as the water levels kept rising I decided to take some photos.

The water level actually got slightly higher than these photos. In the front the water came up to the side walk and in the back the water started coming onto our back patio a little bit. Fortunately, Mark opened the gate to our backyard and the water level back there dropped as it started to go out through the gate. Thankfully the rain did not continue too much longer after we took these photos. I should say it continued but was falling at a much slower rate. We had no damage to our house but we did figure out how the water got in during the hurricane back in September!! :):) Now to only fix it before hurricane season starts again.
